Tasting Notes: Brilliant red color. Full and soft with red berry notes, raisins and ripe fruits. The fruit flavors are sustained on the finish, ending mineral, with smooth tannins. Complex and elegant body. Pairing: Good match with a lot of typical Italian dishes, from mixed cold meats and medium dry cheeses, to T-bone steak (Fiorentina steak) and red meat in general. The vineyards are located on a round hill, 300m above sea level, with clay soil rich in potassium, yellow sands (tufa), shells and coral fossils. Green harvest in early summer. Aged for 3 years in both traditional barrels and French barriques.
Tasting Notes: Deep ruby red color with garnet reflections, ripe berry aroma, sweet tobacco, coffee and dark chocolate. Elegant, with silky tannins, refined finish of mineral notes and a touch of vanilla. Long and well balanced, with a round body. Pairing: Red meat, deer, wild boar and grilled pork.
